Elderly woman begs police to raze structure at school

An 82-year-old woman kneeled and begged police to demolish an unauthorized building of Beijing Haidian Experimental High School.

The woman, surnamed Zhao, is a resident of Fuguangli community, living less than two meters from a two-story building located at the north part of the school.

The 15-year-old building was found to be unauthorized when residents of Fuguangli sued it for obstructing natural light in August 2007.
