Students at the Affiliated High School of Peking University (AHSPU) have been banned from playing their favorite game, "human sawing", because the schools said it is dangerous and indecent for teenagers.
The game is popular among boys of several junior and senior high schools in Haidian district. The person being "sawn" is held up by a group of students, ranging from three to as many as possible, who force his legs apart and ram his crotch against things such as tree trunks and electric pillars.
Many students say they are proud of being "sawn", rather than being humiliated, and that the game is a good way to strengthen friendship.
