Husband is accused of killing his wife

A man accused of kicking his drunken wife to death appeared at Beijing No 2 Intermediate Court on Tuesday, Beijing News reported.

The 44-year-old man surnamed Jin said he drank alcohol with his wife after he completed a sale on Nov 18, last year. The drunken woman then set off to a property management company to complain about her heating bill, but fell down outside while wearing her pajamas. Embarrassed, the man allegedly kicked her and took her home, where he continued to beat her. She later died. The court has not yet issued a verdict.
