As exam season approaches, Beijing officials are vowing to take tougher measures to control noise to provide a peaceful learning environment to students who will take the senior high school and college entrance examinations next month.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of City Administration and Law Enforcement has launched a series of regulations to promote a quiet atmosphere. According to the bureau, the noise-control campaign is kicking off one week earlier than last year.
