It's not just driving for a racer

Having competed on the world stage for a dozen of years, Marchy Lee said what Chinese racers need to learn goes far beyond driving skills.

Upon winning the China Formula Campus championship in 1996, Lee received a scholarship to join the La Filiere racing school in Le Mans, France, and spent three years there, progressing from Formula Campus to French Formula 3.

Despite some respectable results, he regretted not studying the language, public relations or marketing lessons at the school.
