CPI target to be met as prices dip

China will keep this year's consumer price index at the presumed target of about 3 percent, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said on Monday. The NDRC said the nation's overall supply exceeds demand and the government has enough stockpiles for important commodities. Vegetable prices are gradually falling as the temperature rises and supplies increase.
