By WANG CHAO | China Daily | Updated: 2010-05-24 07:58

A consumer rights expert is claiming that Carrefour stores in Beijing are selling books and videos without a license.

According to Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce, stores have to get a license to sell books and videos.

Zhao Jianlei, who makes a living by taking sellers of fake goods in Beijing to court, said Carrefour stores don't have the license but do sell these products inside their premises.
