9-year-old girl spits blood after raid on street vendors

A nine-year-old girl has reportedly been beaten by urban administrators to the point of spitting out blood, but the administrators' office has denied its people were responsible.

The incident reportedly took place when the officials were raiding street vendors in Tongzhou district on the evening of May 15.

A press officer from Party's Tongzhou district committee, surnamed He, told METRO the matter will be investigated.
