Electro all go

By Jules Quartly | China Daily | Updated: 2010-05-21 07:50

Electronic music has been booming since the INTRO Beijing Electronic Music Festival last year. And since you can't get too much of a good thing the event will be held once again, in the 798 Art Zone, on Saturday.

It will be an annual rite for a long time into the future, reckons Acupuncture managing director Miao Wong, the mover and shaker behind the collective of DJs organizing the party.

"Last year was the first attempt (it was dubbed China's first official rave) and we weren't sure it was going to happen," Wong says. "This year everything feels more certain, we're sure it's gonna go ahead. We're established."
