Jilin Week hails visitors

The Jilin Week of Shanghai Expo is from June 3 to 6. It is considered as a window through which the provincial government can promote its achievements in economy, trade, technology and culture.

The opening ceremony, cultural events and business exchanges are the three major events of the week.

Officials from Shanghai Expo Organizing Committee, CPC Jilin Committee and Jilin government will attend the opening ceremony where themed performances will be put on show.

Yanbian case highlighted

Jilin's Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture is to be shown as a case in the Urban Best Practices Area from May 31 to June 9.

Themed as "Green Ecological 'Golden Triangle' in North-East Asia - Harmonious Family of Multi-Nationalities", the local government plans to make presentations, and hold forums, tourism promotions and performances during that period.

Online pavilion offers 3D tour

Jilin's online Expo pavilion features a simulated 3D experience. With music, movies and interactions, it highlights Jilin's natural beauty, history, customs, modern achievements and future visions.
