NEW YORK - A Canadian sports doctor was charged on Tuesday with unlawfully treating three National Football League players with unapproved drugs, including human growth hormone (HGH), US authorities said.

Dr Anthony Galea, who has treated golfer Tiger Woods, was named in a criminal complaint filed in Buffalo, the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York said.
