Drunken passenger arrested on plane

A drunken man surnamed Cheng was detained by police for five days at Capital International Airport on Sunday for disruptive behavior on a plane bound for Nanning, Beijing Times reported.

Cheng, who carried a can of beer as he boarded the plane on Saturday, went straight to business class with an economy class ticket. He quarreled with flight attendants, who then called the police. He told the police that he drank alcohol before boarding due to a recent divorce.
