Building trust with Arabs

China Daily | Updated: 2010-05-15 07:06

The Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum, which ended in Tianjin on May 14, has deepened the political trust and expanded the comprehensive cooperation between China and Arab states.

The meeting, attended by 22 foreign ministers, representatives from China and Arab countries and the secretary-general of the League of Arab States, takes the China-Arab strategic partnership to a new level and adds color to China's all-dimensional diplomacy.

Set up in January 2004 during President Hu Jintao's visit to the Arab league headquarters in Cairo, the China-Arab Cooperation Forum has developed into a link between two civilizations and become an important platform for bilateral exchange and cooperation.
