Huaneng teams up with Cnooc

Huaneng Power International Inc and China National Offshore Oil Corp (Cnooc) have agreed to jointly build gas-fired power stations in China. The two companies signed an agreement to study the possibility of building joint power units near Cnooc's liquefied natural gas-importing terminals, pipelines or in other economically developed regions, Huaneng said on its website.
