By Lian Mo | China Daily | Updated: 2010-05-13 07:54

A court has rejected a private lawsuit against American manufacturer Johnson & Johnson (J&J) China for not marking poisonous substances on its labels.

The case was concluded at the Beijing No 2 Intermediate People's Court, the judge said on Monday.

Shi Xia attempted to sue J& J after discovering that a bottle of Baby Peach Bath contained trace amounts of dioxane and formaldehyde. She claimed the company should have made it clear on the packaging.
