Guo Jianjun, 37, a man who claims to have little interests in politics, has served some of the world's most powerful leaders, including former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
As chief butler of the Kempinski Hotel at Liangmahe in Chaoyang district, Guo takes pride in pushing personal service beyond the standard.
The CEO of the Kempinski hotel, Reto Wittwer, once said: "I have worked in the hotel industry for decades and stayed at numerous luxury resorts around the world, but Guo is the best butler of all."
