Cycling to work boosts immunity
Just 10 minutes of cycling daily strengthens muscles and improves blood circulation, and 20 minutes can bolster the immune system as well, according to Germany's Consumer Initiative.
People who ride a bicycle to work benefit their health twice a day, the group says, adding that fairly long distances should be no deterrent because cyclists in traffic-congested cities are often quicker than motorists to arrive at their destination.
