Bayern's youngsters eye more titles
BERLIN - Youngsters Thomas Mueller and Holger Badstuber played a big part in Bayern Munich claiming their 22nd league title on Saturday but the pair want more silverware with the treble still up for grabs.
They graduated from Bayern's reserve team at the start of the season, yet last Thursday both were named in Joachim Loew's provisional 30-man Germany squad for the World Cup. They picked up Bundesliga winners medals in the German capital after Saturday's 3-1 win at Hertha Berlin as the Bavarians continue their hunt for more trophies.
Having won at Berlin's Olympic Stadium this weekend, Bayern return there next Saturday to face Werder Bremen in the German Cup final before playing Inter Milan in the Champions League final on May 22 in Madrid.
