Journey back in time

Chuandixia village, known for its access to Hebei province and Inner Mongolia in ancient times, makes for a fascinating hike. It was flooded with a stream of horses and carriages during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Part of the village was seriously damaged over the past several decades, leaving some sections in ruins. The village lost its strategic significance and quickly became deserted.
