Jade robber caught hiding in store toilet
A man has been charged with stealing jewelry and clothes worth more than 180,000 yuan from a department store, Mentougou district court said Thursday.
The suspect, surnamed Luo, allegedly hid in the corridor of the store on Jan 25 and came out after closing time. He allegedly broke through an interior door to enter the main shopping area store and stole 228 pieces of jade and pearl jewelry, as well as a feather down jacket.
