Placido Domingo sings praises

Many celebrities, among them world-renowned politicians, film stars, businessmen and singers, appreciate the famous painting, The Drunken Beauty. One of the world's top tenors, Placido Domingo, is one of those fans.

At a solo concert in Shanghai last year, Domingo captivated the audience with his voice and received an overwhelming welcome from local people. During the event, Domingo was overjoyed to accept a precious gift, a Chinese embroidery of The Drunken Beauty. Deeply attracted by the charm of the work, the tenor, who has great taste in Chinese art, scrutinized the work and complimented Wang Jiamu, general manager of JingCui Co Ltd, saying that: "I should dedicate a song to the person who made this". His joy and affection defied description.
