Swift sales
A total of 33.11 million Expo tickets had been sold as of Tuesday, among which 23.96 million are individual tickets and 9.15 million are for groups, said the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination. Taking into account the tickets that are to be given to Shanghai citizens, the number of potential visitors to the Expo is estimated to exceed 40 million.
The bureau's spokesman suggested that ticket holders choose their visiting dates carefully to avoid the peak periods.
