Donewald Sr to cover for son in Shanghai

Bob Donewald Sr will be the acting head coach of the Shanghai Sharks this summer as his son, Bob Donewald Jr, prepares the national team for the FIBA World Championships.
A former American college basketball coach, Donewald Sr was the first man to lead Illinois State University to the NCAA tournament and he did so for three consecutive seasons.
He was fired in 2000 and has done consulting work for several college and pro teams since.
