Tax bureau chief accused in bribery
Former Beijing local taxation bureau chief Wang Jiping is under investigation on bribery allegations, China Times reported on Saturday.
Wang, an advocate of computerized taxation systems, is accused of taking bribes in bidding for such a system. More than 10 million yuan could be involved, the newspaper quoted unnamed insiders as saying.
