New Taiwan Street mall set to open next month

Almost 80 percent of the shops in Shijingshan district's Taiwan Street shopping mall will feature Taiwan specialties and brands, organizers said.

The mall's inauguration ceremony will be on May 7.

An official from the Shijingshan bureau of commerce, who requested anonymity, told METRO that the bureau is busy supervising the last phrase of the project, which is scheduled to wrap up on April 28.
