Housemaid gets 10 years for stealing
A housemaid has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for stealing jewelry from her employer last year, Beijing Morning Post reported on Sunday.
The 21-year-old, surnamed Ni, was sentenced on Saturday at Changping district court. She was convicted of taking a necklace and ring worth 280,000 yuan between September and December and selling the necklace for 4,800 yuan.
