Hostage sues bank for mental anguish

A former hostage is making Chinese legal history by becoming the first person to sue a third party following her ordeal.
The woman, surnamed Qiao, is suing China Construction Bank (CCB) Yangqiao Branch, which was her employer at the time.
She says she still suffers mental anguish after being taken hostage during a bank robbery one year ago, Beijing News reported.
