Two security guards who allegedly robbed 200,000 yuan from a female resident were charged with robbery by Haidian district procuratorate on Tuesday.
The suspects are a man surnamed Li, 23, from Henan province and another, surnamed Xiu, 28, from Shandong province. They met in 2006 when they both served as security guards at a community in Chaoyang district, according to Li Gang, a prosecutor from Haidian district, on Wednesday.
Between 2006 and 2009, the two men each earned about 1,500 yuan monthly, which they allegedly said was too low. They resigned in early 2009, prosecutor Li told the court.
