Chinese movie fest begins in Damascus

What's new

A Chinese movie week kicked off on Saturday in Damascus, during which six, newly-produced Chinese movies will be screened.

Co-hosted by the General Organization for Cinema of Syria and the Chinese Embassy in Damascus, the movie festival will show Forever Enthralled, Hutong Days, Painted Skin, and Ip Man, for their depiction of traditional culture and ordinary people's lives. The opening movie is Walking to School by director Peng Chen.
