Taxi driver charged with killing passenger

A taxi driver accused of killing a passenger and dumping his body in the Tonghui River has been charged with intentional homicide by the City's No 2 Procuratorate, Beijing Times reported on Saturday.
The male suspect, surnamed Zhang and in his 30s, had been a driver for three years. The male victim, surnamed Liu and in his 30s, was a migrant worker from Henan province.
On the early morning of March 28, after drinking with his friends in a restaurant near Jianwai SOHO, Liu hired Zhang's taxi and told him to drive toward Shijingshan district, the report said.
