SHANGHAI- The Beijing Pavilion on the Shanghai World Expo site was completed on Thursday, 30 days ahead of the Expo's opening.

"Beijing's exhibition will not only bring to visitors the culture and traditions of the ancient capital but also showcase the vigor of the city as a modern global metropolis," said Cheng Hong, vice-mayor of Beijing.

With the help of 80 LED screens controlled by mechanical arms, the designers have created a structure able morph into different shapes, creating appropriate backdrops for the varying exhibits.
