4 college students recovering

Beijing - A male college student in Northeast China's Jilin province has been arrested for allegedly stabbing four of his schoolmates last Thursday, reports said.

The suspect, identified as Yan Zhaoyu, a sophomore with Tonghua Teacher's College, launched the attack at the cafeteria on the campus at roughly 7 pm on Thursday, China News Service reported on Saturday.

Yan fled the scene after stabbing four students who were having supper there, the report said. The victims, three males and one female, all students with the college, received multiple wounds and are being treated in a local hospital, reports said.
