Nissan may up global output

Nissan Motor Co, Japan's third-largest automaker, may raise its global output by about 13 percent next fiscal year.

Nissan has informed suppliers that it may build 3.698 million vehicles in the year beginning April 1, spokesman Toshitake Inoshita said on Tuesday. The Yokohama, Japan-based company said in February it expected to produce 3.287 million units in the current fiscal year.
