By Zhao Yanrong | China Daily | Updated: 2010-03-15 07:47

Two dozen Beijing tourists were turned back at Taipei's airport last week because they had not obtained exit and entry permits.

The case is under investigation, said the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Tourism.

The 24 travelers booked the trip through the China International Travel Service (CITS) Beijing. They landed at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at noon on Wednesday, Beijing News reported on Sunday.
