Man in the dock for avoiding checkout
A man who allegedly stole a shopping cart full of goods from a Carrefour store in Tongzhou appeared at the Tongzhou district court on Wednesday.
The man, surnamed Xue, allegedly smuggled his haul through the no-shopping channel on Jan 18. The goods including French cognac Martell Xo, tea and bottled water and was valued at 1,200 yuan.
