Comment on "Urban-rural income gap widest since opening up" (March 2, 2010).

China has experienced unprecedented economic development and is undergoing rapid modernization now, but its income distribution is far from being balanced. Many people have become rich, but a lot of others still live below the poverty line. Some of them don't even get enough to eat, let alone having enough money to get their children educated.
