Unlicensed taxi driver is robbed by gang

A male migrant worker who allegedly robbed an unlicensed taxi driver has been charged with robbery, Changping Procuratorate said Wednesday, adding that his two other accomplices are still on the run.
Yang Jing, the press officer from Changping district court, told METRO yesterday the 38-year-old male victim, surnamed Jin, from Beijing was a driver of an unlicensed taxi. The suspect, surnamed Shi, 27, from Henan province, was a migrant worker in Beijing.
In March 2009, Shi and an accomplice surnamed Wang allegedly took a taxi in Changping district.
