Asian Games Special: Friendly cooperation before the competition kicks off

Chinese coaches are helping to train Pakistan's teams for the Games in Guangzhou, Masood Khan, the Pakistan Ambassador to China told China Daily reporter in a recent interview.

He said that the coaches will help with training swimmers and table tennis players as well as other athletes. The arrangement is the result of talks between Pakistan's President and the Chinese President and Prime Minister.

This close cooperation between the two countries shows that the Games is much more than just a competition. It's also a chance to build relationships. "This event in Guangzhou means much more than just being athletic," said the ambassador.
