Car crashes into scaffolding at HQ of Duan Qirui

The damaged gate of the headquarters of the Duan Qirui government came within inches of being struck again by a car on Wednesday, even as it was undergoing repairs from a crash in October.

Witnesses said a Mazda 6 rammed the scaffolding near a door of the building. The female motorist was apparently trying to drive into the courtyard, the witness, surnamed Wang, told Beijing Times.

The woman is said to be a new driver who lives in a residence there, said Wang.
