Eateries hungry for staff

Most restaurants in Beijing have anxiously posted hiring ads now that Spring Festival is over, scrambling for servers in the face of a shortage.
"This year, it has been much harder than past years to hire hands," said Deng Tianlei, manager of Shouer Cheng Restaurant in Chaoyang district.
"We need about 15 servers right now but no one is applying, despite the fact that we increased salaries by 10 percent."
