It could be anywhere and it could be anyone doing the most mundane or freaky things, on Chatroulette, which is a live feed into the homes and minds of the world's netizens.
The website hosts real-time, one-on-one webcam conversations with complete strangers selected at random. There's no signing up, it provides anonymity and either party can disconnect and move on to a new person at any time by clicking on "next".
The idea is simplicity itself and was the brainchild of 17-year-old Andrey Ternovskiy, from Moscow, who has been programming since he was 11. Appropriately, using the site is like Russian roulette, because the interactions are so hit and miss. It's about three months old and is the hottest thing on the Net.
