Kenya excavations green lighted

The National Museum of China, Peking University and National Museum of Kenya have signed an agreement on a joint archaeological project.

To be implemented in the Lamu Archipelago Areas of eastern Kenya, the project is expected to last three years. The Chinese side will cover the costs of archaeological expeditions, according to Chen Junqi, an official with the Ministry of Commerce.
