Santos case shelved
An Ecuadorean provincial court has shelved a case against former Colombian Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos, who ordered the March 2008 bombing of a guerrilla camp on Ecuador's side of the border.
The move could help improve diplomatic relations between the neighboring Andean countries, which have been strained since Colombia attacked the rebel camp almost two years ago.
