Japanese girls' band Kalafina promises a fairytale concert at Mao Live House in Shanghai on Sunday.
The band comprises three young singers. Wakana's specialty is her high-pitched voice and she is Kalafina's main vocalist. Keiko sings bass, and Hikaru provides the background voice and sometimes uses body language to illustrate the song they are singing.
The band rose to fame in Japan in 2008 after it performed Oblivious, the theme song of the animated TV series, The Garden of Sinners. The songs of their later albums have all been used for the opening and closing songs of popular animated movies.
