Violin concertos

Accomplished violinist Lu Siqing will perform Kabalevsky's Violin Concerto in C Major, Wieniawski's Polonaise Brillante in D Major and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major Op 35. Beijing Symphony Orchestra will provide the accompaniment. Lu, 41, entered the Central Conservatory of Music at age 8. In 1987 he won the first prize at the Paganini Competition.
