Kazakhstan diplomat visit

Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and his Kazakhstan counterpart Kanat Saudabayev held talks in Beijing yesterday, reaching consensus on international and regional issues of common concerns and agreeing to deepen the two nations' strategic and cooperative partnership.

The two sides also agreed to further cooperate in trade, transportation, culture and other areas, and enhance communication and coordination within the UN and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
