China will maintain an appropriately loose monetary policy and proactive fiscal policy, the Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday, citing a meeting chaired by President Hu Jintao. The goverment will also "well manage" the relationship of economic growth, reform and inflation expectations, according to the report.
