Rewards for army staff

Officers and staff of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) who have performed exceptionally well will be awarded a diploma of honor and a considerable amount of money, PLA Daily reported on Sunday.

The General Staff Headquarters, the General Political Department, the General Logistics Department and the General Armaments Department released a circular saying that 800 servicemen would receive public praise and each of them would be rewarded with 20,000 yuan ($2,930).
