Dub Gabriel steps up to the plate

Producer, DJ and professional tourist Dub Gabriel is no stranger to China and first came here two years ago to do an after-party for French label Givenchy, during Beijing Fashion Week.

"I had an incredible time. Beijing is a truly progressive and cosmopolitan city with a passionate music and art scene. I'm excited to be back," Gabriel says in an email interview from New York.

"The last time I was in Beijing, at the recommendation of my friend Sami, who plays bass with the New York Dolls, I went to D-22 and caught some of the Chinese Punk/No Wave bands and loved it!"
