Broadway musical close to home

You don't need to take the time to fly over the ocean in order to watch the classic Broadway musical Forever Tango. The world-acclaimed production is coming to Beijing and will land at Huairou Theater.

Conceived and directed by Luis Bravo, a high-profile cellist who has performed with major symphonies throughout the world, Forever Tango arrived on Broadway in 1997. Described as a must-see dance drama, it tells of the birth of tango in Argentina and its development over years, featuring 14 world-class tango dancers, one vocalist and an on-stage 11-piece orchestra - including the instrument of the tango, the bandoneon - the evening celebrates the passionate music and dance of Argentina.
